Family programs at both our main shelter and our Schallock Center for Animals offer fun experiences for your family to attend. With something for all ages, we love to see your families at our events!
Book Party with First Stage

Help First Stage teaching artists bring the Go Dog Go! books to life! Explore characters, play games, and learn more about how First Stage brings books to the stage.
Tots & Tails
$10/toddler | Ages 2-5 | Sept-Dec
Join us for a fun and gentle introduction to animals through stories, fine motor activities, and hands-on learning!
Readers to the Rescue
$35/child | Grades 1-5 | Sept-Dec
Twice each month on Saturday mornings, your child and a parent or guardian will visit the shelter to read aloud to our shelter dogs.
Movie Night at the Barn
$35/family | All Ages | Sept-Nov
Join us for a fun-filled evening for a movie at the barn! Enjoy a variety of yard games, then settle in for a family-friendly movie in a relaxed barn setting.
Goat Yoga
