Learn the equipment and games for CPE© Speedway
CPE© Speedway is a new set of games developed by Canine Performance Events (CPE) that started being offered in 2021. Speedway is a part agility and part not agility! It is a team activity between the human handler and the canine athlete. Unlike agility, in Speedway there are no jumps or contacts or weaves, making it a fun set of games for both younger and older dogs. Speedway also involves some unique equipment that is not found in most agility venues: “hoops” (which are actually flat on the bottom) and barrels, just like those used for horse barrel racing.
In this 6 week class each game will be focused on for two weeks allowing both handlers and dogs to thoroughly experience and learn each game. The games are:
