Dog Park

Give your dog the freedom to run, sniff, explore, and play in our private 5-acre dog park—without the stress of crowded public parks or unfamiliar dogs. Whether your pup prefers solo adventures, needs a safe space to burn energy, or wants a fun playdate with friends, reserving a private timeslot gives you peace of mind and your dog room to thrive.

*Please note: While your reserved space is private during your rental time, other areas of the property may be in use for camps, programs, or resident animals. Some dogs may find these sights, sounds, or smells distracting, so please use the space with your dog’s comfort and reactivity level in mind.

Dog Park Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes! Each reservation gives you private access to your reserved space during your scheduled timeslot, allowing your dog to enjoy the area without unfamiliar dogs inside your rental space.

Our dog park features 5 acres of fenced space for dogs to run, explore, sniff, and play.

Yes! You may also coordinate a playdate with friends or family, for up to 6 dogs in the park at a time.

Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination. Distemper and bordetella are optional but recommended. HAWS also recommends heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and annual fecal exams.

Absolutely. Many guests use the park because their dogs are uncomfortable in traditional public dog parks. Private rentals allow dogs to exercise and explore in a lower-stress environment.

Yes. Owners must remain with their dog and maintain control of them at all times.

Dogs must remain on a standard 6-foot leash until fully inside the fenced park area. Dogs may not be off leash outside of fenced spaces.

Yes! Toys, treats, and training tools are welcome as long as they are used safely and removed when you leave.

We recommend bringing water for yourself and your dog, waste bags if desired, towels during wet weather, and any favorite toys or enrichment items your dog enjoys.

Yes. Guests are responsible for picking up all dog waste. Multiple waste stations are available inside the park.

Your reservation time cannot be extended, so we encourage guests to arrive on time and depart promptly to allow smooth transitions between bookings.

Possibly. While your reserved space is private, the property may also have resident animals, camps, educational programs, or other activities taking place nearby. Some dogs may find these sights or sounds distracting.

There are horses and goats on the property. However, we do ask that you enjoy them from a distance and abstain from walking up to the horse pastures and interacting with the animals directly. There can be no dogs near the horses. Horses and goats have very delicate digestive systems and skin, and touching or feeding the animals can have unintended negative consequences. Please help keep our animals happy and healthy by not touching or feeding any animals on the property. 

Dog Dock

Whether your dog is a seasoned swimmer or just discovering the water, the SCA Dog Dock offers a private, low-stress space to splash, swim, and have fun at their own pace. Open May–October, the pond is perfect for solo exercise, confidence-building, or a fun doggy swim date with friends.

Yes. Dogs using the pond should already be comfortable and capable swimmers.

Yes! You can coordinate a swim date with friends or family for a total of 6 dogs in the pond at a time.
