Art Camp

$345 | Grades 2-5 | June & July

This is the perfect camp for an art-loving, animal-loving kid! Art camp focuses on combining art and animals. In this week-long session, campers will spend their morning hours socializing with animals, completing volunteer work and participating in numerous animal-related activities. Each afternoon will be spent with Kristin Gjerdset, Associate Professor of Art at Wisconsin Lutheran College, who will be leading the campers in various animal-related art lessons. The campers will have a wonderful art portfolio of the pieces they created throughout the week. Suggested for campers who prefer drawing, painting, and similar activities.

Camp Highlights:

  • Meet & Greet Shelter Animals: Interact with a variety of shelter animals.
  • Create Your Own Art Portfolio: Campers will have a beautiful portfolio showcasing their animal-themed artwork, all created under the guidance of a professional artist.
  • Explore Different Artistic Styles: Experiment with different art styles, such as realism, abstraction, and impressionism, as campers learn how to express their love for animals through unique visual mediums.
  • Build Confidence & Creativity: This camp provides a supportive and creative environment where campers can build confidence in their artistic abilities while developing a deeper connection with animals and learning about their care.
