Continuing Agility

Take your dog’s agility skills to the next level in our Continuing Agility class! This course is designed for those who have completed the Agility Basics class, are ready to build on their foundation. We’ll focus on advanced handling techniques, improve your dog’s obstacle skills, and introduce more challenging courses tailored to your experience level. In this class, you’ll work on improving your dog’s speed, accuracy, and independence as they tackle increasingly advanced obstacle combinations. As you and your dog grow as a team, you’ll build confidence, coordination, and a stronger connection through fun and rewarding agility training.

Class Highlights:

• Advanced Obstacle Work: Improve your dog’s performance on obstacles like the teeter, seesaw, and advanced jumps.
• Effective Communication: Fine-tune your cues, body language, and timing, while focusing on increasing speed and precision.
• Course Sequences: Practice running full agility courses to challenge your teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Positive Reinforcement: Focus on reward-based training to create a positive experience for your dog.

Prerequisites:

• Agility Basics or Similar Level of Training, minimum strong Recall, Stay, and Wait cues are ideal.
• Dog must be crated while they are not working with you or the instructor.
