#53: Life Skills for Puppies Training Class
We want all of our important relationships to start off on a positive note, and to get stronger over time.
The relationship with a new pet – especially a new puppy – is no different!
Life Skills for Puppies Class is for puppies ages 8 to 20 weeks. It provides a positive, supportive environment where your puppy can start building essential skills for good behavior, laying the groundwork for a positive relationship.
This class emphasizes puppy socialization – helping owners learn how to introduce their puppy to new people, dogs, and environments to build confidence and positive social behaviors.
Another key is behavior management. The class lead trainer addresses common puppy challenges like chewing, biting, and jumping and gives effective solutions. Plus, with most of the class off-leash, puppies have the freedom to learn and practice basics in a fun, interactive way, promoting a more natural learning experience.
Of course, it’s all about positive reinforcement! We use treats and praise to reward good behavior and build trust with the dogs.
There is always a new Life Skills for Puppies session on our training calendar, for when you and your puppy are ready to work on your relationship!
