Does your company participate in Workplace Giving Campaigns? Workplace giving campaigns demonstrate perfectly how everyone can make a difference, how every dollar counts, and how when a group comes together, they make an enormous difference! Be sure to include HAWS as a choice for your employees.
HAWS is an eligible write-in organization for United Way! To designate your gift to HAWS, make sure to write-in “Humane Animal Welfare Society” on your donation form.
Does your company have a matching gift policy or program? If an employee donates to HAWS, the employer matches their gift (the most common matches are 1:1). What a wonderful way to encourage a philanthropic workplace culture in the office!
Other ways to fundraise:
- Donate a portion of your sales on a particular day or for a specific period of time.
- Create a special, limited release product with proceeds benefiting HAWS.
- Host a supply drive.
- Offer your business services, expertise, or space.
