HAWS is located at 701 Northview Road (also known as Highway FT) in Waukesha, WI, across from the south end of the Waukesha County airport and east of the Waukesha Expo Center. The shelter is a dark orange wood sided building with green trim.

From communities along I-94 and Hwy. 16

From I-94 exit Hwy. J. Go south one mile. Turn right onto Hwy. FT (Northview Rd.)

From New Berlin

Take I-94 route or Cleveland Ave. to Hwy. 59, turn right onto Hwy. 59. Follow to Hwy. 18.  Turn left onto Hwy. 18 (Moreland). Turn right onto Pewaukee Rd. (Hwy. J). Turn left onto Hwy. FT (Northview Rd.)

From Menomonee Falls

Take Capitol Drive to Hwy. 164. Turn south onto 164 and drive for 3-1/2 miles (note that 164 becomes Hwy J south of I-94). Turn right onto Hwy. FT (Northview Rd.)

From Muskego

Take Racine (CTH Y) to Hwy. 59. Turn right onto the 59/164 bypass. Turn left onto Hwy. 18 (Moreland), follow to Pewaukee Rd. (Hwy. J) and turn right. Turn left onto Hwy. FT (Northview Rd.)

From Eagle/North Prairie

Take Hwy. 59 to St. Paul Ave. Turn left on Moreland Blvd. Turn left on Delafield St. and turn right onto Hwy. FT (Northview Rd.)
